We would also consider with the right candidate, no qualifications as in house training could be available.
Work would involve, fire and fireplace installations within the gas side or stove installations within the Hetas side
Chimney and liner work is essential so working on a roof is a requirement.
Pay is subject to the candidates experience and knowledge
Working hours Monday – Friday 8.30am -5.00pm

We are looking for a Gas installer that has experience in installing domestic cookers. This role will involve not only installing cookers but mentoring Swiftcare engineers who are in the process of going through their Gas Safe training to enable them to build their portfolio of work.
Overnight stays may be necessary from time to time.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic person to join our small, but talented, team of engineers.
To begin with, the applicant’s primary role would be as an assistant on HVAC and electrical installations.
From our personal experience, that’s a great way to feel out whether the type of work, and the company in general, is a good fit.
No specific qualifications are required, however a general (or prospective!) interest in of HVAC or electrical engineering would be useful.

Ambience: Fires & Stoves are looking for a Multi-trades person to join our team of Fireplace installers, based from their showroom in Oxford. Knowledge of general building work is essential and you will have a proven working knowledge in relevant trades such as general building work, carpentry and / or plumbing (a Gas Safe or Hetas Registration would be advantageous but not essential)
The responsibilities of the role are as follows but not limited to;
Understanding of how gas and solid fuel fires work in relation to conventional draught. Following manufacturers instruction and building regulations. Working towards achieving certification in the relevant work categories.
Hours of work will be 9am – 5pm , Monday to Friday.

Mobile Mechanical Engineer/Fitter position available in a successful and well-established mechanical services company.
To apply for the role engineer’s need to have experience in fitting/installing (steel work from ½” to 12”) (copper, pipe work from 15mm to 150mm, and other services covering all types of jointing methods etc.
The role will involve working from drawings installing all types of mechanical works both new and existing systems such as steam, heating, water, compressed air etc.
You’ll be travelling to sites within a 0 to 60-mile radius from the company’s office in Oxford, no stay away required.
You’ll work closely with the site supervisor and project engineer to ensure the contract is running smoothly from start to completion. Projects vary in length from a couple of days to 1 year.

The person required:
*Experience installing steel/iron/copper metal equipment.
