HWB1 Swimming Pool Boilers

This Gas Safety Assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in the work of install, exchange, disconnect, service, repair, breakdown and commission swimming pool boilers by practical and knowledge and understanding assessment.

 

Anyone undertaking the assessment should have appropriate domestic natural gas qualifications which are still within date.

Evidence of existing domestic natural gas qualifications in the form of certificates need to presented to our office prior to undertaking the assessment.

It is highly recommended that anyone undertaking this assessment undertakes our Two day domestic Natural Gas training course prior to this assessment.

If the qualification(s) have expired it may be necessary to retake the INITIAL GAS ASSESSMENT.

 

Training covers:                                                                           

  • Installation
  • Commissioning                                                                                                                                                                                                       
  • Servicing and maintenance
  • Basic gas safety fault finding
  •  
  • You will need to bring with you

  • Candidate name and address
  • Candidate National Insurance number
  • 2 passport sized photographs
  • Copies of relevant qualifications and/or evidence of gas work experience
  • A declaration of the category for the individual making the application
  • First-time applicants will also be required to provide an acceptable  form of photographic identification e.g. a passport or driving licence
