Domestic Heat Pumps
Assessment Information
Designed to give installers the skills and knowledge required to correctly install heat pumps. This course has been designed with the with the intention of meeting the requirement of the National Occupational Standards.
And covers both ground and air source heat pumps
Assessments normally consist of a combination of practical and theory examinations.
Pre-requisites
Trainees should have a minimum NVQ Level 2/3 qualification in plumbing or conventional heating engineering, or a demonstrable number of years of relevant experience.
Also it is not required to do the course but if you want to become MCS registered, Water Regulations/Byelaws and Unvented Hot Water certificates will be required for MCS.
