THIS GAS SAFETY ASSESSMENT IS DESIGNED TO TEST THE GAS SAFETY COMPETENCE OF AN OPERATIVE IN CORE COMMERCIAL GAS WORK BY PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING ASSESSMENT.
Course Overview
Tests the gas safety competence of an operative in the work of Primary meter installations incorporating diaphragm, or rotary displacement meters without by-pass and of badged capacity > 6 m3/h 1076 m3 /h and where the inlet pressure under normal gas supply conditions does not exceed 75 mbar and a meter regulator is to be installed
Course Assessment Options
This course is designed for anyone seeking Initial Assessment or Re-Assessment
Written Assessments
These consist of one open book written assessments. The Open Book assessments permit the use of approved reference material
All two written assessments contain multiple questions
Practical Assessments
Workshop activities on live pipework required

his is a one day course which is inclusive of half day assessment
Pre-Requisites
Proof of existing Gas Safe Registration for Reassessment, or 6 months registration with Gas Safe Register plus proof of working on appliance.
This course can be training and assessment or assessment only.

- Candidate name and address
- Candidate National Insurance number
- 1 passport sized photographs
- Copies of relevant qualifications and/or evidence of gas work experience
- A declaration of the category for the individual making the application
- First-time applicants will also be required to provide an acceptable form of photographic identification e.g. a passport or driving licence
