Gas Engineer Required for a growing company.


A small but expanding plumbing and heating company in Oxford are seeking qualified and experience Gas Engineers.

We need gas engineers that are great at service and maintenance, have strong diagnostic skills, and possess great customer service skills.


These roles will suit a qualified domestic / commercial gas engineer. The work is extremely varied,with a bias towards planned service and reactive breakdown support on a range of gas boilers and heating systems within a variety of commercial and domestic properties, with new equipment

installation work as required.


Salary according to experience, with regular overtime available to those who wish to maximise earnings.Van, uniform, travel time, 28 days holiday, on-going training.


Ideal candidates will have:


• Appropriate certification.

• Hold a full UK driving licence.

• Good customer service skills.

Essential criteria

Experience Gas and Oil Service Engineer Required


Warburton Building Services Limited are an ever-expanding family business who are a company of qualified engineering technicians specialising in providing installation and maintenance of mechanical & electrical services.

We are currently seeking an experience Gas and Oil service Engineer  to work in mainly domestic properties within Oxfordshire for our own service customers. The role is extremely varied with the basis towards planned service and responding to breakdowns to heating systems.

Your duties will include-

  • Carrying out planned servicing and fault-finding work.
  • Attending to breakdowns on boiler and heating systems.
  • Providing accurate reporting information for further repair work.
  • New housing aftersales customer care.
  • Participate in an On-Call Rota System for our service customers.

As a Service Engineer, you should be an excellent communicator with the knowledge and ability to fault find and diagnose domestic gas and oil heating systems.


To be considered for this position you must have –

  • Proven experience as a gas and oil Service Engineer.
  • Gas Safe and OFTEC qualifications
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Full current driving license.
  • The knowledge of renewables would be an advantage but not an essential as full training can be given.

Installation Engineer/Pipe fitter Required

Oxford Renewables:  Oxford Renewables Limited is a biomass and solar thermal renewable energy company that was established in 2008. We have been at the forefront of designing, installing and maintaining of wood-fuelled and solar thermal heating systems and now look after over 150 systems across the south of England. The Challenge: To match the increase in demand for biomass boiler and solar thermal installations, we are looking to grow our installation team. We are looking for a team player who is hands-on, practical and technically competent to join us to help deliver 100% growth in installations. The right candidate will receive plenty of on the job training. We expect the right person to hit the ground running and integrate quickly into our small, motivated and ambitious team of renewable energy professionals.


Installation Engineer/Pipe fitter. The ideal candidate will have experience in pipe fitting although candidates with good all-round practical skills and experience will be considered.  The role does require heavy lifting and working at heights so the candidate must have a reasonable level of fitness. A can-do attitude is a must.


A full driving licence is required.


Remuneration:  up to £30k : Depending on experience and ability.
