Qualified Plumbing and Heating Engineer Required


Required Hours – 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday

 Rate of Pay will be dependent on experience and qualifications.


Athey & Mason Plumbing & Heating Ltd are a plumbing and heating business based in West Oxfordshire. The company has grown considerably over the past three years and are looking for an experienced Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join the expanding team.


The successful candidate must have a friendly and professional manner and be prepared to take on a varied workload to support our domestic and commercial customer base. You can work alone and can use your own initiative, but also as part of a team.  


Athey & Mason Plumbing & Heating Ltd like to ensure that work is completed by the same engineers on the project from start to finish. It is essential that you feel confident explaining to the customer what work has been carried out ensuring confidence in the job and greater customer satisfaction.

Aspects of work will include:

  • Heating and plumbing installations, maintenance, and servicing.
  • New builds and developments, it is also desirable if the successful candidate holds a current CSCS card (however this is not essential)
  • Boiler and heating fault finding, repair and installations. Therefore, it is desirable that you have knowledge of heating systems

It is expected that the successful candidate holds: - Full Driving Licence, at least 5 years plumbing and heating experience, Level 2 NVQ plumbing and Current Domestic Gas Safe and Unvented Water Qualifications – OFTEC Oil or Solid fuel, Commercial Gas Safe qualifications would be desirable however, not essential.


Company vehicle, fuel card, mobile telephone and uniform provided.

Gas Engineer Required for a growing company.


A small but expanding plumbing and heating company in Oxford are seeking qualified and experience Gas Engineers.

We need gas engineers that are great at service and maintenance, have strong diagnostic skills, and possess great customer service skills.


These roles will suit a qualified domestic / commercial gas engineer. The work is extremely varied,with a bias towards planned service and reactive breakdown support on a range of gas boilers and heating systems within a variety of commercial and domestic properties, with new equipment

installation work as required.


Salary according to experience, with regular overtime available to those who wish to maximise earnings.Van, uniform, travel time, 28 days holiday, on-going training.


Ideal candidates will have:


• Appropriate certification.

• Hold a full UK driving licence.

• Good customer service skills.

• Experience of carrying out fault finding.

• A good understanding of H&S procedures.

• A can-do attitude.

Experience Gas and Oil Service Engineer Required


Warburton Building Services Limited are an ever-expanding family business who are a company of qualified engineering technicians specialising in providing installation and maintenance of mechanical & electrical services.

We are currently seeking an experience Gas and Oil service Engineer  to work in mainly domestic properties within Oxfordshire for our own service customers. The role is extremely varied with the basis towards planned service and responding to breakdowns to heating systems.

Your duties will include-

  • Carrying out planned servicing and fault-finding work.
  • Attending to breakdowns on boiler and heating systems.
  • Providing accurate reporting information for further repair work.
  • New housing aftersales customer care.
  • Participate in an On-Call Rota System for our service customers.

As a Service Engineer, you should be an excellent communicator with the knowledge and ability to fault find and diagnose domestic gas and oil heating systems.


To be considered for this position you must have –

  • Proven experience as a gas and oil Service Engineer.
  • Gas Safe and OFTEC qualifications
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Full current driving license.
  • The knowledge of renewables would be an advantage but not an essential as full training can be given.
