DAH1 - Warm Air Heaters
Gas Safety Assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in the work of:
- Install
- Exchange
- Disconnect
- Service
- Repair
- Breakdown
- Commission domestic gas fired ducted-air heaters not exceeding 70kW input
Range of appliances covered include:
- Open flued natural convection
- Open flued fan assisted
- Up flow
- Down flow
- Horizontal flow models
Non Domestic engineers can undertake Domestic DAH1, without the need to undertake CCN1, only if they encounter domestic sized appliances within non domestic premises.
Pre-requisites
- Hold a current CCN1
certificate
- Candidates undertaking DAH1 for the first time would
complete such assessments as initial assessments
- Candidates renewing their elements would undertake as
re-assessments as long as their previous elements have not lapsed by more than 12 months
Course Duration
Can be assessment only or training and assessment

You will need to bring with you
- Candidate name and address
- Candidate National Insurance number
- 2 passport sized photographs
- Copies of relevant qualifications and/or evidence of gas work
experience
- A declaration of the category for the individual making the
application
- First-time applicants will also be required to provide an acceptable
form of photographic identification e.g. a passport or driving licence
